Master’s Degree in Teacher Training: Language and Literature
It is one of the 8 specialisations offered in the Master’s Degree in Teacher Training for Compulsory Secondary Education, Upper Secondary Education, Vocational Training and Foreign Language Teaching. It is taught after completion of the Generic Module, which is common to all specialisations.
It is divided into two modules. The first module mainly focuses on becoming familiar with the specific didactics of the discipline, its syllabus and the development of methodologies suited to the teaching of languages in Secondary Education and Vocational Training. The second module aims to apply these strategies and methodologies to content and subjects specific to the specialisation.

Master’s Degree in Teacher Training: Technology

Master’s Degree in Teacher Training: Educational Counselling
It is one of the 8 specialisations offered in the Master’s Degree in Teacher Training for Compulsory Secondary Education, Upper Secondary Education, Vocational Training and Foreign Language Teaching. Unlike the other specialisations focusing on teaching, the specialisation in Educational Counselling is aimed for professionals involved in psychopedagogical, education, academic and professional guidance who work in the Counselling Department of centres and high schools.
This specialisation has its own guidelines. In other words, it offers comprehensive specific training through its three Modules: Generic, Specific and Practicum.

Master’s Degree in Teacher Training: Musical Education, Dance and Performing Arts
It is one of the 8 specialisations offered in the Master’s Degree in Teacher Training for Compulsory Secondary Education, Upper Secondary Education, Vocational Training and Foreign Language Teaching. It is taught after completion of the Generic Module, which is common to all specialisations.
The training is divided into two modules. The first module mainly focuses on presenting the various professional and teaching perspectives of training Music Teachers in secondary and upper secondary education, as well as Dance and Performing Arts teachers, and on becoming familiar with the specific didactics of the discipline, its syllabus and the development of methodologies.
The second module offers training in Programming, Didactics, Assessment and Innovation and applies these strategies and methodologies to specific content and subjects of the specialisation, at Secondary and Upper Secondary education or equivalent levels.

Master’s Degree in Teacher Training: Physical Education
This is one of the 8 specialisations offered within the Master. It is taught after completion of the Generic Module (GM), which is common to all specialisations.
It is comprised of 8 subjects, divided into two modules. It aims to train future Physical Education teachers in various fields of knowledge and skills, among others: didactics, programme design, assessment, CAPV syllabus, pedagogical innovation and research, etc., both in the Formal Education context and in school sports. The goal is for them to be familiar with the variables that influence the Physical Education Teaching-Learning process of 21st century teenagers and children.
This specialisation is taught at the Faculty of Education and Sports at the Alava Campus, in the Sports section (building).
