Carme Ferré, Ph. D.
She is a Ph. D. in Journalism from the Universidad Autónoma de Barcelona and associate professor from the Department of Journalism and Communication Sciences of that university. She has received several research and literature awards, among which we can mention the Mass Communication Research 1999 Award from the Consell de l'Audiovisual of Catalonia (CAC). She has participated in several research projects on communication, history and culture and published six books and more than twelve articles. Now is a part of the research project on European Minority Language Media and Journalism for the period 2009-2010. carme.Ferre@uab.cat.
