I have a Diploma in Social Education (1998), a degree in Psychology (2001) and a PhD in Psychology (2006) from the University of the Basque Country (UPV / EHU), after a UPV / EHU predoctoral fellowship (2002-2005). I enjoyed a postdoctoral fellowship from the Basque Government (GV / EJ) in 2008, the year in which I completed an 11-month research stay at the University of Minnesota under the supervision of Wilma Koutstaal.
I have been a principal researcher of 4 research projects (3 UPV / EHU, 1 GV / EJ), I have participated as a member of the research team in 4 projects (2 Ministry of Economy and Competitiveness, 2 UPV / EHU) and I am a member of the group of consolidated research of the GV / EJ (IT1295).
The lines of research that I have developed have been those related to developmental psychology from a cognitive perspective, analyzing in young and older adults processes related to memory, cognitive flexibility and learning. As a result of these investigations I have published 27 scientific articles (17 of them in JCR), 1 complete book and 3 book chapters, I have participated in multiple national and international conferences and I have received several research awards (SEGG, SEPEX ...). In 2019, the CNAEI recognized my first six years of research. Since March 2017, I am an Associate Professor in the Department of Developmental and Educational Psychology and since November 2019, I work as Students and Communication associate dean in the Psychology Department (UPV/EHU)
