MSc (2005 – Faculty of Science and Technology UPV/EHU) and PhD (2009 – Faculty of Engineering UPV/EHU) in Physics. Since 2016, she is Associate Professor at the Applied Physics I Department at the Faculty of Engineering of Bilbao, where she previously served as Assistant and was tenured.



Her teaching duties are focused at the degree level for engineering students, complemented with teaching Astronomy at the Postgraduate course in Scientific Illustration (UPV/EHU). She has advised many Master theses for the Master in Space Science and Technology at the Aula EspaZio Gela in the Faculty of Engineering of Bilbao, apart from graduate final theses for Physics students from the Faculty of Science and Technology in the Leioa Campus.



Researcher at the Planetary Sciences Group of the UPV/EHU since the beginning of ther Ph.D., her research is focused in the study of the gas giant Jupiter atmospheric dynamics at cloud level. She works with data from a number of ground-based telescopes, including professional facilities and amateur observations, and various spacecraft missions, such as Hubble Space Telescope.



In addition to this, she is involved in public outreach, collaborating in the “Zientzia Kaiera” blog, from the distinguished UPV/EHU Chair of Scientific Culture. She also participates in many public lessons for numerous outreach initiatives (Week of Science, Zientzia Klub, BertsoZientzia, February 11th, etc) and collaborates with some radio broadcasts
