Diploma in Social Work (1992) and Licentiate in Sociocutural Anthropology (2000) by the UPV/EHU. PhD in Peace, Conflict and Democracy from the University of Granada (2015). She has been a professor-collaborator of the UPV / EHU since 2007. She is linked to social volunteering, extensive experience in the field of socio-cultural animation (ONCE) and in development cooperation with stays in Cuba and Equatorial Guinea. She has been a social worker in the Municipal Service of Social Emergencies of the City Council of Vitoria-Gasteiz (1995-2003). She was the technical coordinator of the Immigration and Equality Areas in the EHNE Confederation (2005-2007). He collaborated in specific social work practices in coordination with the Faculty of Social Work of the UPV/EHU (1999-2002). Member of the Board of the College of Social Work (2007-2015) and member of the Intercollegiate Commission of Euskadi.
She has 42 contributions in state and international congresses, specific training and conferences. She is the co-author and author of several articles and book chapters related to social intervention and research for peace. His lines of research are social participation, empowerment processes and community social work; peace and conflicts; social intervention in key gender (with men and women); and, epistemology and social work. Incipiently social intervention in the prevention of suicides.
