Acquired skills
These are the main competences for which this degree will qualify you:
- An understanding of the basic subjects and technologies to enable them to learn new methods and theories, as well as instilling in them the considerable versatility required to adapt to new situations.
- Knowledge, understanding and ability to apply the necessary legislation within the performance of the professional duties of a Technical Telecommunications Engineer and the ability to handle specifications, regulations and rules of mandatory compliance.
- Sufficient knowledge to undertake measurements, calculations, assessments, valuations, surveys, studies, reports, work plans and other similar tasks within the specific field of telecommunications.
- The ability to analyse and assess the social and environmental impact of technical solutions.
- The ability to draft, develop and sign projects within the field of telecommunications engineering whose purpose, according to the knowledge acquired pursuant to the provisions of section 5 in this order, is the design and development or operation of networks, services and applications in telecommunications and electronics.
- The ability to resolve problems with initiative, decision-making, creativity, and critical reasoning, as well as reporting and conveying knowledge, skills and abilities, understanding the ethical and professional responsibilities of the duties of Technical Telecommunications Engineer.
- The ability to work in a multidisciplinary group and in a multilingual environment and communicate, both in writing and orally, knowledge, procedures, results and ideas related to telecommunications and electronics.
- To comfortably handle specifications, manuals, regulations and rules of mandatory compliance.
- To understand and apply the basic concepts of economics and the management of human resources, project organisation and planning, as well as the legislation, regulation and standardisation of telecommunications.
