These are the main competences for which this degree will qualify you:
- To design and evaluate educational and training policies and programmes in public and private institutions with a special interest in fostering a culture of peace and democratic values.
- To design, manage and asses projects involving public policies and social intervention, as well as their results.
- To develop a critical attitude toward social practices and data.
- To draft and present a research report in sociology.
- To formulate and develop management strategies in public and private organisations.
- To identify and analyse the basic processes and needs that arise in public and private organisational structures.
- To identify and define the basic components of the most significant social issues.
- To plan and conduct sociological research applying the most appropriate techniques to the goals set.
- To succinctly analyse information on social issues and inequalities, paying special attention to gender, class and ethnic inequalities.
- To use intellectual and ethical rigour in social reasoning and analysis with regard to their professional future.
