Degree in Philosophy and Educational Sciences and PhD by the University of the Basque Country (UPV/EHU). Psychotherapist accredited by the Spanish Federation of Psychotherapist Associations and Health General Psychologist.

Her teaching activity is focused on psychotherapeutic intervention. The courses she teaches in Psychology degree are “Psychotherapy” and “Child and Young Treatment”. She carries out postgraduate teaching in the General Health Psychology Master in the “Child and Young Assessment and Intervention” course and in the “Research in Clinical and Health Psychology” course of the Research Master in Psychology: Individual, Group, Organization and Culture. Moreover, since 2019/2020 school year, she participates as teacher of the “Families and Preventive interventions in risk situations” course of the new Master on early care. Research interests are around six main areas:

1) Attachment and parenting practices and psychological wellbeing.

2) Parenting stress, attachment and family relationships.

3) Comparative studies with different kind of families.

4) Crosscultural comparisons of relationships variables.

5) Preventive and psychotherapeutic interventions based on family interactions.

6) Gender perspective inclusion:

a. Parents and rearing: Gender analysis.

b. Gender and psychological wellbeing.
