I hold a PhD in Applied Linguistics, more specifically in Language Acquisition in Multilingual Settings from the University of the Basque Country (UPV/EHU). I previously graduated in Translation and Interpreting (Spanish, English and Russian) (2015) and completed an MA in Language Acquisition in Multilingual Settings (2017) at the same institution and in both cases with honours. Moreover, in the case of the Bachelor’s degree in Translation, I was awarded with the third “Premio Fin de Carrera” (End of Bachelor’s Award) by the Spanish Ministry of Education. I also have an MA in Secondary Education Training from the International University of Valencia (VIU). During academic experience, I have carried out several stays at foreign universities, such as the University of Sheffield (UK), Moscow State University (Russia) and the University of Leeds (UK).

Currently, I am working as an assistant teacher in the Department of English, at the Faculty of Arts. Furthermore, I continue developing my research within the Language and Speech team. My main research interests are related to collaborative L2 learning, early foreign language learning in instructional settings and the impact of individual differences. I have published in international journals (e.g. Language Awareness) and attended multiple conferences to disseminate my investigation.
