Associate Professor of Arabic Language in the Area of ​​Arab and Islamic Studies of the Department of Classical Studies of the Faculty of Letters of the University of the Basque Country (UPV / EHU). She has a PhD in Arabic Philology from the University of Barcelona (1999), a degree in Semitic Philology from the Complutense University of Madrid (1993), and a degree in Hispanic Philology from the University of Zaragoza (1997). He has received scholarships for predoctoral research (1996-1999) and postdoctoral research (2000-2002). He teaches the subjects Arabic Language I, Arabic Language II and Arabic Language III in the degrees of Translation and Interpretation, Philology, English Studies and Basque Studies and has participated in the Interdepartmental Program of Doctorate in Linguistics (2005-2008) and in the Master's Degree in Linguistics (2014-2015). Each academic year he directs several Final Degree Projects (TFG) and Final Master Projects (TFM). His research interests are Arabic linguistics, Moroccan Arabic and Moroccan anthropology and ethnography (immigration, women, food). He has published books, book chapters and numerous articles in indexed specialized journals, as well as attendance and participation in national and international conferences. Since 1996, he has been a member of different R & D research projects and has been awarded the C1, C2, B1, B2 and B3 complements as well as three research six-year periods (CNEAI), 1996-2002, 2003-2008, 2009-2014.
