Bachelor (2010-2014) and Master (2014-2016) of Chemical Engineering from the University of the Basque Country. Since 2016 my research activity has been carried out within Catalytic Process and Wastes Valorization group at the University of the Basque Country. I gained a Basque Government predoctoral fellowship in 2018 and I held my PhD in Chemical Engineering with Summa Cum Laude distinction and International mention in 2022. In 2023, I got a Spanish Government postdoctoral fellowship (Margarita Salas) and joined the University of Navarre. My research is mainly focused on the pyrolysis and gasification of different wastes (plastics, biomass, sewage sludge…) to produce valuable added chemicals and fuels, which will be the key to developing the Biorefineries. This research has contributed to the development of conical spouted bed reactor technology for waste valorization by pyrolysis and, specially, in gasification with several innovations and advances. I am currently the author of 21 JCR indexed peer-review publications (18 Q1 and 4 Q2) and 3 book chapters and I have participated in 12 Competitive Research Projects funded by the Basque Government, Spain’s Ministries and the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme. These articles are well accepted in the literature, leading to about 718 citations and h-index of 14.
