Industrial Engineer (1998) by the Bilbao School of Engineering (UPV/EHU), completed the Final Year Project through a scholarship at the Università degli Studi di Roma Tor Vergata. In 2005 he added to his training a degree from the University of Bristol (MSc in Aerospace Design, Manufacturing and Management).

He has complemented his technical development with management training, among which are a Course in Business Management (2011) by the Universidad Complutense and a Master in Operations Management (2012) by Mondragon Unibertsitatea.

He has worked always in leading aeronautical companies, starting in the UK at Rolls-Royce (1999), in a professional development program until its promotion as Advanced Technologist in 2001. There he promoted and led cooperation programmes between Rolls-Royce and major European universities, including the Bilbao School of Engineering (UPV/EHU).

Since 2002, he has continued his career at ITP Aero where he has assumed different responsibilities such as project management of component in leading European Defense programs, integration of the design of compressor modules and turbine structures, and management of Engineering team.

In 2005 he joined the Department of Mechanical Engineering (UPV/EHU) as Associate Professor, teaching the subject of Strength of Materials and guiding the adequacy of the subject to the European Higher Education Area (EHEA). Since 2015, he teaches the subject of Aircrafts at Master's Degree in Industrial Engineering.
