BSc (2000) and PhD (2006) in Chemistry, University of the Basque Country (UPV/EHU).

Lecturer in the University of the Basque Country since 2006, in the School of Engineering of Gipuzkoa at the beginning and in the School of Engineering of Bilbao since 2010. Her teaching interests include multilingual education and teaching modules through English language.

She is a member of the research group of Metallic Glasses and Electrochemical Engineering directed by Prof. Dr. Ángel Rodríguez Pierna in the School of Engineering of Gipuzkoa (Donostia–San Sebastián). Her current research interests are focused on the field of electrocatalysis, namely on electrocatalysts with low platinum loading, based on amorphous metallic alloys and in their application for hydrogen fuel cells for e-mobility
