Jokin Gorozika Bidaurratzaga is an industrial engineer, specializing in Energy Techniques, from the UPV / EHU (1989), PhD in Engineering (1997) and full professor in the Department of Graphic Expression and Engineering Projects of the School of Engineering of Bilbao.

From 2002 to 2005 he was academic secretary of the Graphic Expression and Engineering Projects department and from 2005 to the present he is deputy director of the School of Engineering of Bilbao.

He has participated in different research projects, in all of them as participant researcher: Digitization and prototyping methodologies of high quality casting models (2012), Digitization and Dimensional Control of Chain Links (2013), among others.

He has communications presented in national and international congresses. To name a few, he co-authored the paper GOOD PRACTICES TO TRANSLATE CORPORATE STRATEGY INTO DESIGN STRATEGY, presented at the 11th INTERNATIONAL DESIGN CONFERENCE, held in Dubrovnik in 2010, or the paper A new partition and extraction algorithm of non-ideal, cylindrical surfaces based on spin-images , presented at the 11th CIRP international Conference on Computer Aided Tolerance, held in Annecy in 2009 and of which he is also co-author.

Since its creation in 2010, he has been the director of the Naturgas Classroom.

Since 2007, he is a member of the Basque Government Advisory Council of the Basque Language. He has participated in various terminological commissions for the preparation of
