Industrial Engineer Ph.D. s. for the Bilbao Engineering School of the University of the Basque Country where she is a Professor since 1979.

was Director of the Applied Mathematics Department since 1998 till 2017.

She was Director of the Project “Aula Iberdrola”(1997 -2009), a collaboration between the company Iberdrola and the Bilbao Engineering School, where students from latest courses carried out projects of interest for the company and the School.

She participated in the Education working group of Basque Innovation Agency, INNOBASQUE since 2008 till 2010.

She has participated in different projects related to e-learning and development of multimedia materials.
