Degree in Social Education (2000), graduate (2002) and PhD (2012) in Social Anthropology by the UPV/EHU, in the last case with extraordinary award. She has completed the master’s degree in Equality of Women and Men at the same university (2010). She has been a professor at this university since 2006 and is currently Vice Dean of Curriculum Practices and Development Cooperation at the Faculty of Labour Relations and Social Work. She is also a president of the equality commission and the practicum commission of this faculty.

Within the Department of Philosophy of Values and Social Anthropology, she teaches in the degree of Social Work. She also teaches in the Master’s Degree in Social Anthropology (UPV/EHU) and the Postgraduate Degree in Social Ethics (Faculty of Labor Relations and Social Work). It is part of the research group on Feminist Anthropology, She also teaches in the Master’s Degree in Social Anthropology (UPV/EHU) and the Postgraduate Degree in Social Ethics (Faculty of Labor Relations and Social Work). It is part of the research group on Feminist Anthropology, AFIT and has participated in several research projects financed by both the Ministry of Economy and Competitiveness (SOLIDARY 2016-2021) as the Basque Government and the University (2013, 2013-2014, 2013-2016, 2016-2020). She has been a principal researcher in projects funded by local authorities (2015, 2016).
