Graduated in Chemistry in 1991 at UPV/EHU, after a few years teaching in high school, she obtained her PhD in Organic Chemistry in 2000 from UPV/EHU. Researcher at Inbiomed Foundation (2001), she has been Associate Professor since 1999 and got her tenure in 2011 at the Faculty of Pharmacy. She has been secretary of the Commission of the Degree in Environmental Sciences from the design and implementation phase until January 2017.

Researcher in 21 projects, is co-author of 10 scientific articles and 3 contributions to national and international Conferences in the field of Chemistry. The National Agency for the Assessment of Research Activity (CNEAI) has acknowledged her for two six-year periods of research, as a member of the research group in Bioorganic Chemistry and Molecular Modeling.

Coordinator of the Educational Advisory Service of the UPV/EHU in the Campus of Álava from February 2015 to January 2017, and its director since then. She has taught more than 15 courses and workshops for teacher training and has participated in the design and implementation of training programs for new professors and clinical professors.

She has participated in various Educational Innovation Projects (PIE) since 2012, is co-author of 2 book chapters, 4 articles and 12 contributions to national and international Conferences.

She helps in several activities related to students’ orientation, such as Students Tutoring Plan, Open Days or Hands On activities
