Licensed (2002) and PhD (2007) in Pharmacy by the UPV/EHU. Since 2011 Associate Professor of the Department of Pharmacy and Food Sciences of the Faculty of Pharmacy of the UPV/EHU. Member of the teaching staff of the doctoral programme in Research and Evaluation of Drugs. Application of Pharmaceutical Technologies to the Development of Advanced Therapies and of the master in Pharmacology. Development, Evaluation and Rational Use of Medicines of the UPV/EHU. Director of the posgraduate own title "Languages management on health care" (EHU, UEU, supported by UEU). Accredited in the DOCENTIAZ teaching activity evaluation program. Director of the scientific journal Ekaia edited in basque language by the UPV/EHU (2010-2014). Vicerector of Basque Language, Plurilinguism and Life Long Learning of the UPV/EHU (2014-2021).



Researcher of the NanoBioCel research group of the UPV/EHU, consolidated group of type A of the Basque University System. Director of two doctoral thesis, both with international and basque language mention. Coauthor of an important number of scientific articles published (ORCID: https://orcid.org/0000-0003-1999-057X): 28 articles in journals of the JCR index. 2 books, 4 book-chapters and 12 articles in basque language. Participation in around of 30 national and international research projects and in more than 20 research congresses. Languages: basque, spanish and english.
