Primary Care Midwife at the OSI Barakaldo Sestao (Osakidetza), PhD in Psychology from the UNED and associate professor in the Nursing Department of the Faculty of Medicine and Nursing. Teacher as a tutor, for 18 years, in the degree / degree of psychology at the Associated Center of Bergara (UNED) teaching face-to-face classes of various subjects of the Department of Basic Psychology.
Simultaneously with the assistance and teaching task, she collaborates with a research team on the usefulness of Maternal Education. After developing a framework that prioritized the digital response to women's needs in relation to childbirth and during postpartum, the team is currently working on the development of needs measurement instruments and their transfer to a real digital tool and available in clinical practice. After evaluating its application, ease of use, ease of maintenance and, above all, its effectiveness in achieving more health and better quality of life for women in the maternity stage, we will continue with the ultimate purpose of extending it to other times of the life cycle of women in which they may need information, advice or support
