Ricardo Martín López has a degree in Medicine and Surgery from the UPV-EHU and a specialty in Family and Community Medicine at the Donostia Hospital. He works as a PAC physician at the Zalla clinic and since 2019 he is a professor of Clinical Nursing at the Faculty of Nursing on the Leioa campus.
