In this subject, the student will learn to understand business decision problems under risk and to set and solve statistical tests. Parametric and non parametric methods are taught, centered in the business area. At the end, the student will be able to use scientific methodology drawing and analyzing data, to take decisions under risk, for the purchases, sales and production areas, and quality control.

3. Getting a critical approach while applying statistical models.

Student can ask to be evaluated by a final exam. In order to do so, student have to notify the instructors in writing during the first nine weeks of the course.



The final test will be a written in-person exam. In case that due to sanitary conditions an in-person exam is not advisable, an alternative evaluation plan, specified in the students's guide available at Egela, will be activated.



In the case of continuous assessment, in order to withdraw from the course, students have to notify it in writing before the last month of lectures.



If a students asked for final evaluation, not showing up to the final exam will count as withdrawal.

The final test will be a written in-person exam. In case that due to sanitary conditions an in-person exam is not advisable, an alternative evaluation plan, specified in the students's guide available at Egela, will be activated.

The teacher will give all the material needed to follow the course.
