Ms. Gurutze Intxaurburu is graduated in Economics at the UPV/EHU (University of the Basque Country), where she obtained her Doctorate in Economics. She started her research experience in the area of innovation processes and innovation management, participating between 1996 and 1998 in two research projects within the IV Framework Program of the European Union. During these years she publishes 2 articles in journals of impact, participates in 4 international congresses and carries out a 3-month stay at a foreign research center (University of Cardiff, 1997).
Later, and being a professor at the UPV/EHU in the Department of Business Organization, she made several research stays in the United States at Nevada University (2006, 2007).
He has participated in several projects and research contracts and has published a series of articles in prestigious journals included in databases such as JCR. She has received several research awards (IV CES Award of Castilla y León, IVAP 2016 award).
He is currently investigating in diverse areas such as industrial organization, industry 4.0, and social responsibility and gender equality. She combines these activities with management tasks in her position as Vice Dean of International Relations of the Faculty of Economics and Business at the UPV/EHU.
