DEng (1999), MEng (2002) and PhD (2017) in Mechanical Engineering in the University of the Basque Country UPV/EHU. He has been guest researcher at Arts et Metiers-Paristech of Bordeaux (France) and RWTH Aachen (Germany). Nowadays is Assisstant Professor at UPV/EHU, where started working in 2007 in the Mechanical Engineering Department. He is member of the quality board and section coordinator at the Engneering School of Eibar since 2015.
The various research lines share the granular solid mechanics in common: abrasive proceses (grinding and sandblasting), tribology, contact mechanics, discrete element method (DEM), and the development of monitoring methodologies of microplastics in the marine environment.
He has taken part in four research projects. He is co-author of four indexed scientific papers, two books and twelve international conferences.
