In the year 2003 I obtained a diploma in Technical Industrial Engineering, specialising in mechanics, from the UPV-EHU.

From that date my professional career began. Until 2010, I participate in projects for the development and implementation of industrial facilities, machines and mechanisms in several companies in the Basque Country.

From 2010 until today, my professional career is developed within the UPV-EHU as a teacher and researcher being a member of the department of Energy Engineering.

My research profile began to built in 2012, when I studied and passed the Master's Degree Research in "Energy efficiency and sustainability in industry, transport, construction and town planning", obtaining the mention of best student for the 2012-13 academic year. Then, I start to develop my doctoral thesis, within the doctoral program "Energy efficiency and sustainability in engineering and architecture". I defended my doctoral thesis, "Modelado de una instalación de producción de ACS y calefacción con bomba de calor geotérmica para la aplicación de la termoeconomía y el diagnóstico termoeconómico" on 5 May 2023, obtaining the qualification of distinction, with Cum Laude mention and the option of an extraordinary prize.

My research is mainly focused on the study of thermal facilities that supply sanitary hot water and heating to buildings and I currently teach at the Faculty of Engineering- Gipuzkoa, Eibar division, within the Bachelor´s Degree Renewable Energies Engineering.
