Bachelor’s Degree in History of Art - Introduction

Art is a pleasure for the senses, and it is also a faithful reflection of the era and society that produces it, and one of its most refined cultural manifestations. From the cave paintings of thousands of years ago to the most transgressive performances of today, its different manifestations (plastic arts, architecture, cinematography and other visual arts, etc.) create an illustrated map of the evolution of the human spirit. The study of material and intangible heritage is also among the fundamental axes of the Degree in History of Art, offering a solid training for those who are professionally interested in the management and safeguarding of Heritage.

Through the Degree in Art History you will gain access to the theoretical and practical tools to make it your future profession, in the field of current creative and cultural manifestations and in the study of creative processes over time and their legacy.

You will have the option of doing voluntary external internships in numerous companies and public institutions, as well as taking advantage of mobility programmes in European and American universities.
