Acquired skills
These are the main competences for which this degree will qualify you:
- To apply and communicate the knowledge acquired, both in the field of teaching and in that of linguistic mediation and planning.
- To build in a structured and accurate manner the necessary argumentation for considering, analysing and explaining a literary, philological or linguistic problem, resorting to the specific theories, methods and resources of philology, literary criticism and theoretical and applied linguistics.
- To communicate in the Basque language fluently, accurately and with an extensive vocabulary, both orally and in writing, according to its main registers and levels.
- To critically analyse all aspects of the Basque language, as well as its literary tradition, and resolve problems of a theoretical and practical nature in those fields.
- To detect, diagnose and resolve problems related to the Basque language and cultural industries.
- To locate, handle, analyse, summarise and critically assess all nature of documents and information related to language, literature and culture.
- To use a second language in different operating contexts and recognise the main characteristics of the literature and culture in that language.
- To work on an individual and cooperative basis in teams in the same discipline or multidisciplinary ones.
