Dr Kopinska is a lecturer in the Department of English Studies at the University of the Basque Country (UPV/EHU). She holds a BA in Ethnolinguistics from Adam Mickiewicz University of Poznan (AMU, Poland) and obtained her MA (2011) and PhD (2017) within the program Language Acquisition in Multilingual Settings (LAMS) at the UPV/EHU with a dissertation entitled ‘The use of Information and Communication Technologies in the Foreign Language Classroom: Students' attitudes, motivation and L2 Selves’ under the supervision of Prof. David Lasagabaster.

In 2008-2011 she taught Polish at the UPV/EHU, and then English in Primary Education degree at the Mondragon University (MU, 2016-2017). Since 2017 she has been teaching English in the Degree in English Studies and the Degree in Translation and Interpretation (UPV/EHU). She is a member of the research group Language and Speech Laboratory (LASLAB) and her research interests include English as medium of instruction (EMI), multilingual education, and individual differences in SLA, such as language attitudes and motivation.
