Bachelor's degree in Industrial Management Engineering from the University of Navarra (Tecnun), Master in Construction Engineering from the University of the Basque Country (EHU/UPV) and PhD in Industrial Engineering from the University of the Basque Country (EHU/UPV). He is an associate professor at the Faculty of Engineering of Gipuzkoa (Donostia) within the Department of Business Organization. Currently he focuses his teaching activity in the areas of Business Management and Building Quality, within the bachelor's degree in Technical Architecture. With regard to research, he has focused his work on the study of the management of companies in the construction sector and also in the field of evaluation and quantification of the sustainability level of constructive projects and construction materials, with the aim of promoting the use of sustainable, quality materials with low associated carbon footprint, such as the case of timber. He is co-author of 11 papers published in journals included in the JCR database and 10 papers at international conferences.
