About us
The Intelligent Control Research Group (GICI in spanish) consists mainly of a group of professors from the Department of System Engineering and Automation at the Faculty of Engineering at Bilbao (UPV/EHU). The group is completed with PhD candidate researchers and researchers recruited through various projects.
The group interest focuses on the exploration and use of hybrid algorithms and methodologies based on Intelligent Control for modeling and troubleshooting of highly complex control problems (control design, modeling, supervision, monitoring, etc.).
The Intelligent Control techniques employed in the GICI, Neural Networks, Genetic Algorithms and Fuzzy Logic can be found.
The members (teachers) of the GICI teach in the areas of classic and modern control, modeling, simulation, automation and instrumentation, both in graduate and postgraduate levels.
