Programme

Both the Faculty of Science and Technology and the Faculty of Medicine and Odontology provide their classrooms and research premises for the carrying out of the courses, seminars and laboratory work envisaged in the Doctoral Program. Moreover, the General Services of the UPV/EHU (SGAIKER), located in both faculties, are available for booking and analytical use.In addition, the classrooms and work spaces of the Biophysics Unit (CSIC-UPV/EHU Mixed Centre) on the Leioa Campus are also available.Finally, the research premises and spaces of the Centre for Cooperative Research in Biosciences (CIC-bioGUNE) (Technology Park of Bizkaia, Derio) are also available.The departments also have reading rooms and premises associated with the different laboratories, available for the group of students of the Doctoral Program.

All the research laboratories, workshops and General Services of the UPV/EHU (SGAIKER), located in the Faculty of Science and Technology (Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology and Department of Genetics, Physical Anthropology and Animal Physiology) are available, as are those in the Faculty of Medicine and Odontology (Department of Physiology). The workshops, laboratories and experimental spaces of the Biophysics Unit (CSIC-UPV/EHU Mixed Centre) are also available.The laboratories and experimental spaces of the Centre for Cooperative Research in Biosciences (CIC-bioGUNE) (Technology Park of Bizkaia, Derio) are similarly available.

The General Library of the UPV/EHU (Leioa) and the Library of the Research Centre in Biosciences (CIC-bioGUNE) (Technology Park of Bizkaia, Derio) are also available so that the students of the doctoral program in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology can conduct the bibilographical searches necessary for the completion of their doctoral theses.
