Programme

There is sufficient infrastructure in each of these three Faculties and at the Lascaray Ikergunea Research Centre for all the theoretical classes and work rooms, as a high number of degree courses are taught there. There are, therefore, sufficient teaching and work spaces as well as computer rooms available to the students, equipped with the appropriate communication and information technologies.

In total there are 12 research laboratories, a cell culture room, a cold room, rooms for incubation, microscopy, optical and general analytics and spaces for RNA. All the laboratories are authorized to operate at level 2 and there are also level 3 laboratories at the Lascaray Ikergunea Research Centre and the Faculty of Medicine and Dentistry.

There is a library on each of the campuses and at each of the hospitals in which teaching is conducted, all interconnected with each other and with the different state libraries, as well as video-conference rooms. The campuses of the UPV/EHU have centralized libraries where the students and teaching staff have access to a large amount of paper literature, together with a great number of online publications available for research and teaching. There are also numerous computer terminals and research support staff for conducting bibliographical searches.
