Admission criteria
Profile for admission
The recommended entry profile for this doctoral program corresponds to those people who have master's degree studies in the areas of Organization, Administration and Management of Companies and other Organizations and who have obtained bachelor's degree qualifications related to Economic and Business Sciences, Juridical Sciences and Social Sciences. This recommended entry profile also corresponds to students who have completed related bachelor's degrees (Engineering, Labour Sciences, Mathematics and Statistics or their equivalents in the EHEA) and who have completed studies in the areas of Organization, Administration and Management of Companies and other Organizations.
Other profiles for admission may choose to join this Doctoral Programme, but they will be subject to a weighted assessment that is rated below the preferential profile for admission. These will include people who have obtained a degree related to Economics and Business Studies, Legal Sciences, and Engineering or Architecture qualifications, even though they do not have a master’s degree or they have a master’s degree in another, unrelated area. Candidates from other non-preferential or unrelated courses may also be considered, as long as they have completed their master's degree studies in the fields of Organisation, Administration and Management of Companies and other Organisations.
For the selection and admission of new doctoral students, the submission of an endorsement by a researcher from the Doctoral Programme as eventual Director of the doctoral thesis will be required.

Procedure for assigning a faculty member as a doctoral thesis tutor and director
Once a student has been accepted onto the doctoral programme, the Academic Commission will assign them a tutor and at least one director from among the faculty at the University of the Basque Country (UPV/EHU) participating in the programme.
When a letter of endorsement is required from Doctoral Programme, director of the candidate will be the person indicated at the endorsement letter. No candidates will be accepted without endorsement letter, when it is required by doctoral programme.
Tutors are responsible for interactions between the doctoral candidate and the Academic Commission. They are also responsible for adapting training and research activities to the principles of the programmes and, where appropriate, the Doctoral School.
