21. I am completing a thesis on a program prior to Royal Decree 99/11 and I want to be transferred to one of the new programs. What do I have to do?
You must apply for admission to the academic committee of this new program. You also need the approval of the person or persons who are currently directing your thesis.
The procedure will be performed by the Postgraduate Studies Service.
Incorporation onto the new doctoral program entails the fulfilment of the same obligations as the newly-admitted candidates and, in all cases, the completion of the research plan and the activity document will be necessary as a step prior to the defence of the doctoral thesis.
The academic committee will be able to validate the different activities previously performed by the students, safeguarding the quality criteria established in the program reports.
