This Congress has been organised into four types of complementary activities in which the different working spaces have been located. These would be the following:

- Dialogues for Communal Democracy [Dialogues].
In this space it is proposed to put two different perspectives in dialogue, with the idea of seeking complementarity or debate. Normally, the papers will be defended by two people who are references and/or known in the field of the subject. One person will moderate the debate. Six sessions have been organised, with two papers in each session.

- Research on case studies [Invest].
The aim of this space is to present the 12 papers of studies in 12 different countries on experiences in Communal Democracy that have been developed during 2020 and 2021. Six sessions have been organised, with two case study papers in each session.

- Communications and proposals [Comu].
In this space, the different communications and proposals that have been received in the public Call for Papers held in recent months, where more than 60 proposals have been received. Of these, 52 papers have been accepted and will be organised in 12 sessions, with 3, 4 or 5 papers (depending on the subject) per session.

- Thematic round tables: dynamics of social subjects [Tables].
In this space, thematic round tables have been organised on living social processes where diverse popular dynamics are developed, both European and international, and which are related to the theme of the Congress. The aim is to give a voice to the protagonists of these social dynamics. The debate and its orientation will be moderated by a moderator. Ten thematic round tables have been organised, with 3 or 4 participants per session.

The first day will take place on the Ibaeta Campus (Donostia) in the Aulario and the adjacent Faculty of Philosophy, Anthropology and Education.
And the following three days will take place in Hernani, with the activities taking place in three nearby and complementary spaces (Biteri kultur etxea, Iturola garapen lokalerako gunea eta Plaza feminista kultur-arteko espazioa).
