PI of BIOMAT group, Koro de la Caba, took part as keynote speaker at 15th International Conference on Chitin and Chitosan (EUCHIS2023), held in Siglufjörður (Iceland) between 11th and 14th of September.

Koro de la Caba gave the presentation entitled “Alternative biowaste sources to develop sustainable chitin- and chitosan-containing biocomposites”.

EUCHIS2023 gathered important international experts addressing the research of chitin and chitosan to improve health and well-being and to support the circular economy and climate action.
