External acknowledgments of Quality Management
Teaching tasks, as well as those of knowledge generation developed at the University, require bigger human and material resources, in a more and more demanding environment. Society expects better results with the resources it allocates and so asks for an increasing standard of quality in the teaching offer which can fulfill the students' aspirations, companies needs, society expectations in the frame of an ever changing market.
With that purpose, the Faculty of Enginneering in Bilbao is working in the establishment and development of an Internal Quality Assurance System based on the principles of excellence in management.
From that date on, several activities have been performed (improvement groups, the design of managment processes, the establishment of indicators) which have led to external recognitions.
