Faculty of Engineering in Bilbao Protocols
1. From September 1, access to the Faculty is free. All doors remain open during the center's opening hours. In any case, inside our buildings they must respect the established measures, hygienic (use of masks, frequent hand washing with soap or hydroalcoholic gel, avoid handling shared objects as much as possible) and distance (circulation with the signs indicated, keeping distance as far as possible). This must be done especially at the entrance and exit of the classrooms, and above all, in the computer rooms.
2. Classrooms will be disinfected twice a day from Monday to Friday, late in the morning and late in the afternoon.
3. Each Faculty building has a "responsible COVID" person, to whom suspected or confirmed cases of contagion must be reported. These people are:
- Building 1: Jokin Gorozika Bidaurratzaga, 94.601.41.86, jokin.gorozika@ehu.eus
- Building 2: Jaime Jiménez Verde, 94.601.40.15, jaime.jimenez@ehu.eus
- Portugalete Building: Inés Pellón González, 94.601.44.42, ines.pellon@ehu.eus
4. The calendar is maintained and as approved at the Factulty Board held on July 15, 2020.
5. The use of a mask is mandatory in classrooms, both by lecturers and students.
6. Classes will begin 5 minutes after the scheduled start time, and will end 5 minutes before the scheduled end. During that time, the windows must be opened to ventilate the classroom. The lecturer who leaves the classroom must ensure that the windows remain open.
7. In laboratories or workshops, students must always be accompanied by a member of the lecturer staff.
8. Downtown cafeterias and reprography centers will be open.
These standards may vary depending on the health situation.
