KEY FACTS ABOUT THE DEGREE PROGRAMME

The degree of Expert in Management of Educational Centres and Digital Leadership in the University of the Basque Country (UPV/EHU) is a programme that prepares participants to find out more about the MANAGEMENT SYSTEM OF AN EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTION, as well as the duties corresponding to each member of the organisation.

It focuses on the skills that are essential today in the educational and managerial fields, such as the ability to work collaboratively with others, the systematic application of METACOGNITIVE PROCESSES in decision-making, or adaptability to an increasingly unpredictable and complex setting both inside of and outside of the centre.

This programme provides an in-depth examination not only of the reality of academic and business management of an educational institution, but also of other complementary aspects such as acquisition of DIGITAL SKILLS, integrating these into the daily work at the institution, and the concept of SPACE (beyond the classroom) as another important element in the process of teaching and learning.

This programme is intended to make it possible to manage any educational institution, taking into consideration the regulatory framework, academic excellence, needs for improvement and suitability of plans for action and improvement.

This is a degree programme designed in collaboration with HEIZE, Euskal Eskola Publikoaren Zuzendaritza elkarteen Federazioa, and it features experts from different fields (UPV/EHU, Government of the Basque Country, Berritzegune Nagusia, Directors of academic centres with extensive experience).
