KEY FACTS ABOUT THE MASTER'S DEGREE

The master’s degree in Social and Educational Intervention with Adolescents and Youth at Risk and in Social Conflict includes two different degrees: University Expert, and University Specialisation, which can be pursued independently and which include practical training in socio-educational resources.

Teachers, social educators and other professionals in formal education and social intervention are sometimes overwhelmed when confronted with complex cases of children and adolescents with criminal, aggressive or unstable behaviours. A specific, science-based training is required, building upon the knowledge of professionals in the socio-educational network and sector, to be able to better understand and deal with these vulnerable adolescents and youth at risk and in social conflict in the process of forming a bond with them and accompanying them in conflict-laden situations.
