How to book reading seats and group study rooms

In some UPV/EHU libraries it is possible to reserve reading seats using the QR4Services application, for which a quota of places is reserved and the rest are free to use. With regard to the group study rooms, reservations must always be made through the application in those libraries that use this system.

The other libraries across the UPV/EHU don’t work with the QR4Services application.

 

How to use the booking service

  • It is exclusively reserved for members of UPV/EHU.
  • The user must register in the application and download it onto a mobile device.
  • Only one study desk can be booked per person.
  • Advance bookings: can be made from Sunday at 19:30 for any day of the following week, up to a maximum of 4 one-hour slots (4 hours) per day.
  • Same-day bookings: can be made from 21:30 the previous day, with no time limitation.
  • Upon entering the library, always from the start time of the reservation, the front desk staff will check the user's QR code on their mobile.
  • Group study room bookings: One member of the group must make the reservation and add the details of the rest. Before occupying the room, everyone must check the QR code generated on their mobile at the main desk.
  • If you permanently leave the library without having used some of the previously booked slots, you must check out at the front desk and cancel the subsequent reservations.
  • Failure to use a prior booking will result in a penalty (failing to check in for 2 slots will prevent making bookings for one week).
