The Department of Graphic Design and Engineering Projects has around sixty professionals, including faculty, administrative and laboratory staff, assigned to four different centres, distributed among the three university campuses of the UPV/EHU.

It is responsible for teaching and research in subjects concerning the areas of knowledge: 'Graphic Expression in Engineering' and' Engineering & Projects'.

Its main mission is to teach students in the subjects for which it is responsible, so that they acquire the necessary competences in the engineering profession.

The Department is committed to its industrial community by cooperating and addressing its needs through technology transfer and research projects.

As a result of this cooperation and within its Doctoral Program, it maintains several research areas that have produced numerous doctoral theses.
