Charles Pinto received the Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Faculty of Engineering in Valenciennes (ENSIMEV), France in 1993, the D.E.A. in Mechanical Design from the University of Valenciennes (UVHC), France in 1994, and the Ph.D. degree in mechanical Engineering from the university of the Basque Country (UPV/EHU), Bilbao, Spain in 2001.
He is an Associated Professor with the Department of Mechanical engineering, Faculty of Engineering, UPV/EHU. His research interests are Kinematics and Dynamics in Parallel Kinematics Machines, Prototyping and Design of Manipulators and Robots, Computational Mechanics and Numerical Analysis of Structural Problems via Finite Elements Method (FEM). and the application of computational methods to these problems.
