Título - Ingeniería de Materiales y Procesos Sostenibles

Doctoral Programme in Engineering of Materials and Sustainable Processes

Nested Applications

Presentación - Ingeniería de Materiales y Procesos Sostenibles

The objective of this Doctoral Programme is to provide solid doctoral training in the area of Materials Engineering, enabling the students to successfully handle the development of new materials or new applications for already existing materials with a strong innovation component, and in the area of Engineering of Sustainable Processes, which facilitates a transition towards processes and products with a lower environmental impact.

Those who complete the Doctoral Programme will be qualified both for engineering or applied research, and for working professionally. During their time on the doctoral programme, they will learn in-depth about advanced and specific techniques in their chosen line of research, and will be introduced to research as a future profession. If the student's approach is professional, they will also be trained in cutting-edge topics and contents that will lead to them to be future professionals with great innovative capacity. This is an essential requirement as far as mature production sectors are concerned, as they need this innovation to survive in developed countries, and it is also crucial in generating new production sectors, related to products with high added value.
