Degree in Biology and PhD from the UPV/EHU with Extraordinary Doctorate Award in 2005. Associate Professor of the Department of Cell Biology and Histology of the UPV/EHU in the Faculty of Medicine and Nursing and now in the Faculty of Pharmacy since 2020. She has taught in the degrees of medicine, physiotherapy, pharmacy and nutrition and dietetics. Professor of the Master's Degree in Biomedical Research and the PhD Program in Biomedical Research at the Faculty of Medicine and Nursing of the UPV/EHU.
Director of more than 10 undergraduate and postgraduate final projects and doctoral thesis. Author of 28 research articles (24 in JCR), as well as several book chapters and two books. She has contributed to more than a dozen funded research projects. She has three six-year research periods recognized by the CNEAI and two five-year teaching periods. Member of the Cell Signaling lab research group: Cell signaling in Cancer, Stem cells and Tissue Regeneration:

She is Head of Department at the Faculty of Pharmacy and member of the Department Standing Committee since 2016.
