ARAITZ ITURREGI AIO

Araitz Iturregi has a Master's degree in Industrial Engineering from the University of the Basque Country UPV/EHU since 2006. She began her professional career in the companies Incoesa and SEW Eurodrive, designing power transformers and gear motors. Then, in 2007 she started to work full-time at the Department of Electrical Engineering of the School of Engineering of Bilbao (University of the Basque Country UPV/EHU), where she continues today as an Assistant Professor. Her main line of research is the analysis and modelization of the interruption of the electrical current. In 2013 she obtained the PhD in Industrial Engineering from the University of the Basque Country UPV/EHU, with international mention.



She is currently a member of the GISEL research group and has participated as a researcher in several research projects financed by both public calls and private companies. She is co-author of scientific publications in international conferences and indexed journals. She has been a visitor researcher in the Technische Universität Imenau, in Germany, several times, pre ans post doc. Nowadays the cooperation for a research is still active.
