- Conocer y saber aplicar las principales técnicas de selección, control, mejora y conservación de microorganismos de interés industrial
- Saber utilizar las técnicas de medida de crecimiento microbiano y estimar sus parámetros
- Conocer las características de los principales grupos de microorganismos de interés industrial
- Comprender el importante papel de los microorganismos en la creación o modificación de productos o procesos de utilidad para el hombre

EVALUACION
Evaluación continuada en la que se valorará:
- Participación en las clases y tutorías
- Exámenes escritos con preguntas cortas
- Informes sobre las prácticas de laboratorio y de campo
- Corrección en la resolución de problemas
La docencia magistral será evaluada mediante pruebas escritas y contribuirá con un 50% en la nota final
Las prácticas de laboratorio y de campo se evaluarán mediante la entrega de informes, contribuyendo con un 30% en la nota final
Los seminarios serán evaluados atendiendo a la corrección en la resolución de problemas y constituirán el 10% de la nota final
Se valorará la participación en clases y tutorías con un 10% de la calificación final
