PROPOSALS FOR COMMUNICATIONS

(DONOSTIA-S.SEBASTIAN. 9-11 / X / 2019)

As it is stated in the presentation and in the general poster, the nations, the rights, the states and the borders will be the big issues around which and through which we want to reflect on the social and dynamic reality that surrounds us. Beyond these four thematic axes, the idea is to broaden the perspective in order to be able to deal with any topic that may be related or traversed by them.

In addition to the main papers, we want to open spaces for the presence and contributions of other researchers and / or activists, in order to enrich the reflection and debate. In front of the unique thought, the objective is to promote critical and emancipatory thinking, starting from a multidisciplinary perspective that puts in dialogue various disciplines (philosophy, anthropology, psychology, history, sociology, economics, etc).

The contributions can be elaborated from broad, general and / or concrete, practical or theoretical points of view. Similarly, they can focus on one axis, or relate several. They can be individual contributions or in co-authorship. The following thematic axes are proposed:

- The situation of RIGHTS at present: regression, approval, annulment, deepening, ...

- Recognized and unrecognized NATIONS, their dynamic construction in current societies and self-determination as a process.

- The role and function of STATES in 21st century societies

- BORDERS, BODIES, TERRITORIES: their utility and political, economic and cultural use.

- POPULISM as an emergent and contradictory way of conveying the political.

- FEMINISM as a new radical and integral proposal for the transformation of the world (in addition to proposing Feminism as its own axis, it would also be interesting to develop it transversally around the other thematic axes).

- The situation of CAPITALISM in the 21st century, its systemic crisis, its mutations and its logic of domination.

- The SOCIAL MOVEMENTS, the POPULAR POWER and its different proposals and articulations as emerging or renewed emancipatory forces.

- DEMOCRACY at the beginning of the 21st century: its models, its crises, its limits and its potentialities.
