Competencies

  • Ability to prepare reports or research papers that aim to analyze economic problem, summary of previous literature on the topic under study, the solution to this problem is clearly obtained and conclusions are synthesized.
  • Ability to read reasonably and critically evaluate economic studies and research work, capturing what are the essential contributions and weaknesses of each piece of research.
  • Ability to search (survey and experimental) data for analysis and synthesis of this information.
  • Ability to work in a team and also independently.
  • Analyze economic problems with critical thinking, without prejudice, with precision and rigor.
  • Apply economic theory to represent real situations.
