The Doctoral Programme in Research and Evaluation of Drugs. The Application of Pharmaceutical Technology to the Development of Advanced Therapies comes directly under the framework of the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industry's R+D+i.
It encompasses lines of research in the field of pharmaceutical technology, gene and cell therapy, characterisation of biomaterials and particularly in the development of new controlled and continuous release drugs, peptides, proteins, nucleic acids and cells.
Projects are also developed that are associated with the biopharmaceutical, pharmacokinetic and pharmacotherapeutic evaluation of drugs, pharmaceutical care, and the regulation of biotechnological medicinal products.
We collaborate with different companies in the pharmaceutical and biotechnological field, as well as with a range of national and international health institutions, universities and research centres.
