The Doctoral Programme in Philosophy, Science and Values (FCV/FZB) is organised by the University of the Basque Country/Euskal Herriko Unibertsitatea (UPV/EHU), the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM) and the Charles III University of Madrid.
It offers students the chance to develop their own training programme, following a broad selection of activities of all kinds. They may also design a doctoral research project in their chosen area of knowledge under the supervision of a tutor, and they will develop this project in one of the programme's research groups, where they will have ample motivation and collaboration from other students, teachers and researchers.
The programme is structured around a range of possible research lines, essentially grouped into three main areas: history of philosophy and metaphysics; epistemology, philosophy of language and the mind, history and philosophy of science, and the study of science and technology; ethics, aesthetics and political philosophy.
